Airmen supported the Freedom 250 Salute to America celebration on the National Mall and Capitol Grounds July 4th as part of the nation’s semi-quincentennial commemoration.

Throughout the celebration, the Department of the Air Force showcased its unmatched global reach with a series of flyovers and aerial demonstrations featuring heavy aircraft, Air Force Special Operations Command assets, fighter formations, the Tri-Bomber formation, Air Force One, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and an F-22 Raptor demonstration.
