Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me for various reasons, being a part of such a small yet elite organization really separates you from society. It allows you to express your individuality and be a part of the everyday mission by delivering your leadership capabilities day in and day out, and that's why serving is most important to me. It's amazing to think that I have a small contribution to the future and creating history!

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
Although I have only been in for a short amount of time one accomplishment that I am proud of was being able to be a part of Wreaths Across America as it was the first year they brought it here to the U.K. It was such a rewarding experience.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
One of my personal goals are to think more positively and not focus on the negative. I also would like to get more traveling done before my Date Eligible for Return from Overseas ends. My professional goals include applying to the Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program. I want to commission in the medical field, specifically in labor and delivery.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part is being able to interact with customers on a day-to-day basis and feeling a sense of joy when making an impact on an individual's career.

How does the individual portray that core value?
"Airman 1st Class Alaniz portrays the core value Excellence in All We Do on a daily by ensuring the quality of work she produces is at its highest," said Master Sgt. O Johnson, 100th Force Support Squadron Career Development superintendent. "She is always asking for feedback regarding ways to be better at her job and comes up with ideas to better processes that are often implemented."
