Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force has given me a sense of purpose, as well as making my family proud.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
My first deployment to Moron Air Base; my supervision and peers told the 100th Maintenance Group Commander about my hard work right in front of me. They explained how much I had been helping out, holding my own as an Airman, and he coined me on the spot. The 100th Operations Group Commander later overheard the same conversation from my leadership and she coined me as well.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
Some of my goals are to make staff sergeant the first time, and volunteer a minimum of 50 hours this year.

What is your favorite part of your job?
To know that our jets play a vital part in the Air Force's mission accomplishment and being a part of it.

How does the individual portray that core value?
"Senior Airman Simring is a phenomenal Airman overall," said Tech. Sgt. Brandon Helton, 100th AMXS specialist section chief. "Though our manning is slowly dwindling and the workload never changes, he is always willing to go the extra mile to get any job completed. He has quickly become a subject matter expert in his shop and is well respected by all ranks in the squadron. We all know that when he is assigned a task, it will be done quickly and correctly, alleviating any follow-up or correction from his peers and supervision. Simring not only excels in his own career field, but is quick to lend a helping hand to other shops in the unit when needed.  Because of this, he's been the first choice on many in-flight maintenance checks, as well as two deployments and several TDYs. Even after a full day's work, he makes the rounds to see if there's any possible way he can help out others before heading home. Though he exudes all of our Core Values, the most prevalent is Excellence in all he does."
