AHRN is moving HOMES Published Jan. 7, 2015 By Staff Reports 100 Air Refueling Public Affairs RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Many military members may be familiar with the Automated Housing Referral Network website, AHRN.com, to assist when looking for off-base housing. This site has been replaced with HOMES.mil. The new official Department of Defense website, HOMES.mil, was launched Dec. 29, 2014, to provide service members, their families and DoD civilians access to non-discriminatory rental listings. The new website, www.HOMES.mil, provides public access to landlords, owners and property managers for use in marketing rental properties to DoD employees who are seeking housing at their assigned location. The website features search and display options, and allows users to save listings, view photos and research housing areas. Patrons are required to register to access listings and landlord contact information. This can be done by visiting the website and following the steps after clicking "Create Account." The 48th Civil Engineer Squadron housing office will manage the available rental listings using a referral component that interfaces with HOMES.mil and streamlines housing office support actions. The AF Housing public website, www.housing.af.mil, is still available and provides a venue for members to obtain specific installation information on family, unaccompanied and privatized housing. For more information, contact the RAF Milldenhall Housing Office at DSN 238-5233 or commercial at 01638-545233. Information provided by the 48th Fighter Wing Housing Office.
