Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me because I want to be able to serve and protect my beautiful country. I also want to be a part of something that is bigger than myself, and be able to see and do things that other people will never have the opportunity to enjoy.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
Although I am proud of everything I accomplished in basic military training, my proudest moment was singing the "Star Spangled Banner" at the 100th Operations Group change of command ceremony. I am so grateful to have been able to sing our nation's anthem at such a memorable and special event!

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
I want to get a bachelor's degree in psychology and become a substance abuse counselor. After watching others struggle with substance abuse, and seeing how much a good rehabilitation program helped them, I want to be able to offer that same kind of help to others. Unfortunately, my father lost his battle with alcohol and drugs, but because of fantastic counselors and rehab programs, the lives of my brothers and friends were saved. Even if I save one life, I will feel like I made a difference in the world.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is being able to work alongside aircrew members every day and listen to the amazing stories they tell about flight duty. It's cool to be a part of the Air Force that people are most familiar with: the planes and flying!

How does the individual portray that core value?
"Airman 1st Class Jessica Doll has exemplified the core value of "Excellence in All We Do" since her arrival to RAF Mildenhall," said Staff Sgt. Tamica Edwards, 351st Air Refueling Squadron aviation resource management NCO in charge from Orlando, Florida. "Doll completed her career development course and upgrade training six months ahead of schedule. She ensures more than 14,000 annual training events are 100 percent compliant with Air Force instructions, and directly contributed to her section's win of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe's "Sergeant Dee Campbell" Aviation Resource Management Small Team of the Year award in 2013. Doll also verifies 750 go/no-go items and tracks flying hours to ensure aircrew members are combat ready."
