Museum opens new doors, honors veterans
The Parham Airfield Museum commemorates a visit from Francis Nix, a World War II veteran, next to a model of Lady Velma, the B-17 Flying Fortress he used to fly in June 28, 2014, in Suffolk, England. The model was donated to the museum in 1998 in honor of Nix, who was the sole survivor of a collision between the Lady Velma and another B-17. (Courtesy photo/Dee Webb)
