How does the individual portray that core value?
"Senior Airman Zimmer is constantly pursuing better and more efficient ways to accomplish our mission here at the 727th AMS by finding more efficient processes and implementing them in her section," said Master Sgt. Julia Perry, 727th Air Mobility Squadron first sergeant from Nürnberg, Germany. "She also prides herself in influencing others to help support the base and community to their fullest extent."


Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force gives me a chance to represent where I'm from and what my husband, who is also active duty, and I stand for.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
I made Senior Airman below-the-zone and earned the 2012 Air Transportation Logistics Airman of the year award.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
My goals are to continue being successful in the Air Force and become a first sergeant. I also want to complete my bachelor's and master's degrees.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is working with local nationals and learning about their culture.
