Military Saves Week approaches Published Feb. 18, 2014 By RAF Mildenhall Airman & Family Readiness Center RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Military Saves Week is scheduled to take place Feb. 24 through March 1, 2014, at RAF Mildenhall, England. Military Saves Week is an opportunity to help service members and their families set a goal, make a plan and save automatically. To achieve this, the RAF Mildenhall Airman & Family Readiness Center is partnering with Community Bank and Keesler Federal Credit Union to offer all Department of Defense cardholders informational finance-focused Lunch & Learn classes. Each class will take place on the following dates from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the A&FRC. Monday, Feb. 24 - Building a Basic Budget Tuesday, Feb. 25 - Wise Use of Credit Cards Wednesday, Feb. 26 - Achieving Financial Goals Thursday, Feb. 27 - Investing for Retirement Friday, Feb. 28 - Credit Score: Why Should I Care? This year's Military Saves Week also involves asking people to take the Military Saves Pledge.
