PRESS RELEASE: RAF Lakenheath fighters temporarily move to RAF Mildenhall

RAF MILDENHALL, England --  RAF Lakenheath-based F-15s are temporarily being housed at RAF Mildenhall as part of an exercise in which both RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall are participating.

Beginning Jan. 28, 2014, a total of four F-15 aircraft will relocate to RAF Mildenhall. All aircraft are scheduled to depart prior to late afternoon Jan. 30, 2014. During this time period, the F-15s will conduct limited flying operations during the day.

The normal quiet hours for RAF Mildenhall will apply to the F-15 aircraft. This means, unless waivers are granted for specific occasions, there will be no F-15 flying during weeknights between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
