Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
I take pride in being a part of a professional organization that contributes to our nation's safety, and I value having a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
I am most proud of completing basic military training, technical school and passing my career development course.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
My personal goal would be to get my degree and to travel around the world. My professional goal is to be the best maintenance scheduler in the Air Force.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Knowing that completing my daily tasks has a great impact on the Air Force mission.

How does the individual portray that core value?
"Airman 1st Class Rivera is the complete Airman. He continually strives to better himself. He displays Excellence in All We Do by accepting responsibility of the plans, scheduling and documentation section which includes a vast amount of information for each aircraft," said Tech. Sgt. Mike Ahboah, 100th Maintenance Group plans, scheduling and documentation section chief from Tuba City, Ariz. "Also, Rivera volunteers for base and community events including the RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath Yuletide party and the local Boy Scouts Eagle project. He has attended professional development center classes and is scheduled to take his first College Level Examination Program test toward his Community College of the Air Force degree in maintenance management production. Rivera is an exceptional addition to our office and RAF Mildenhall."
