Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? It's a great way to gain experience, education, travel and make life-long relationships.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? Completing basic training with an injury and making it through tech school without any failures.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
My personal goals are to travel the world, learn to become a good cook or baker and enjoy life to the fullest. My professional goals are to influence those around me positively, move along swiftly in the intelligence field and work toward my degrees. I have a general "10 year plan" but I've learned to take everything as it comes and make the best of it-no matter what. I love to learn and always strive to better myself.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I love analysis and big picture scenarios that make you realize just how fragile the systems are, and how big our influence is. But, my favorite so far has been force protection and working with the counterintelligence Office of Special Investigations. I love learning new stuff!

How does the individual portray that core value?
"Tanner is an outstanding example of an American Airman. She is the lead intelligence force protection representative and coordinates with security forces and Air Force OSI personnel on protective measures for RAF Mildenhall," said U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Steve Barnes, 100th Operations Group officer in charge of training. "She is also an excellent Intelligence analyst and has briefed the 100th Air Refueling Wing commander on theater threats and political climate within three combatant commands. She has also been the transition subject matter expert for three elements in the intelligence flight where she has provided training to three new intelligence personnel."
