Boil water notice: RAF Lakenheath Published Dec. 3, 2013 By Staff Reports 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Water maintenance will be conducted Dec. 3, 2013 at RAF Lakenheath affecting water supplies to personnel and residents. Additionally, a boil water before use notice will be in effect beginning 8 p.m. Dec. 3 until further notice. During this time, water should be boiled before use or consumption or use bottled water as an alternate source. The water distribution system will be disconnected as long as needed to complete the maintenance. After the work is completed, the system will be chlorinated and the 48th Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight will conduct sampling to ensure the water is safe to drink.
