Holiday Greetings coming to RAF Mildenhall Oct. 16 to 19

RAF MILDENHALL, England --  The 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs office is scheduled to record Hometown Holiday Greetings Oct. 16 to 19, 2013.

This is a four-day opportunity to film greetings for the upcoming holiday season and is open to RAF Mildenhall, RAF Lakenheath and RAF Feltwell Airmen, Department of Defense civilians and their families.

If a service member is deployed or TDY, his or her family can still create a greeting, but the family should mention the service member is deployed or out of the country.

What: RAF Mildenhall Public Affairs is filming Hometown Holiday Greetings.

When: Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Oct. 17 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: In front of the BXtra on RAF Mildenhall, England.

Who: RAF Mildenhall, RAF Lakenheath and RAF Feltwell Airmen, DOD civilians and their families can create a holiday greeting.

How: Greetings will be filmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Important information for holiday greetings:

1) Military members must be in uniform. If they are not in uniform, they will not be able to participate.
2) Civilians can participate in greetings if they are DOD.
3) If participants plan on sending more than one greeting (i.e. one to mom in Las Vegas and one to dad in Oregon), they must fill out two forms. Essentially, one form for each greeting.
4) Phone numbers for relatives are not a "must have." This is so networks can call families and let them know when greetings will air. It's an option, not a requirement.
5) Participants must fill out forms using an ink pen.
6) Participants must fill in forms using all capital letters.
7) People will not be allowed to get in line after the session's end time. Within reason, the 100th ARW PA office will stay as long as needed to film everyone's greeting.
