Shuttle to Heathrow changes prices Published Sept. 17, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Kelsey Waters 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Effective Oct. 1, 2013, Coach Services are scheduled to change prices for all travelers to London Heathrow Airport. "The contract with the Coach Services Company was just renewed," said Staff Sgt. Sherri Edwards, 48th Fighter Wing Logistics Readiness Squadron traffic management office and passenger travel. "So, we adjusted the prices to reflect the majority of the shuttle users." The prices have gone down for official-duty passengers and there's now a charge for Space A passengers. "The Space A passengers generally use the shuttle more than Airmen on official duty," Edwards, a native of Killeen, Texas, said. The prices are now 10 pounds (cash only) for Space A travelers, 50 pounds (Government Travel Card or cash) for passengers traveling on official duty and 75 pounds (GTC or cash) for official-duty passengers who need transportation to Terminal 5. Requests for transportation to Terminal 5 must be placed 72 hours in advance by the Unit Deployment Manager to the Passenger Movement Section. All passengers must have a valid Department of Defense ID card to travel. For more information, contact the Passenger Movement Section at DSN 226-1854 or commercial at 01638-521854.
