Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? As an avionics specialist, the camaraderie between maintainers in any unit is one that cannot be matched. By the time I am ready to leave the Air Force I will have ties and friendships that will last a lifetime. My tasking while in the Air Force has expanded my horizons and has truly put my peers and me among the best. It is truly something I take pride in.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? Receiving "Airman of the month" awards while being deployed. It was special to me because it reflected my commitment to service during a particularly difficult period of time. I'm also proud of receiving my radar endorsement. My latest accomplishment, standing up the first CV-22 AMU overseas, has been challenging but very rewarding.

What are your personal and/or professional goals? My personal goal is to further my knowledge in aviation and to become a great supervisor.

What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of the job is the reward of seeing new Airman I have trained become proficient avionics troops.

How does the individual portray that core value? "From the time Senior Airman Davis arrived in March, he has put the mission first. In a mere 5 months he has helped stand up the avionics work center by building five different programs, deployed to receive our first CV-22 Ospreys and fixed numerous aircraft discrepancies. On top of all that, he has stood up the unit booster club and has led four fundraisers. His selection to staff sergeant was expected given his readiness to accept new challenges and subsequent successes," said Master Sgt. Eric Leirer, 352nd SOMXS CV-22 Aircraft Maintenance Unit superintendent.
