RAF MILDENHALL, England --  Women’s Equality Day commemorates Aug. 26, 1920, the day women were granted the right to vote in the U.S. Today, the U.S. Air Force has approximately 59,292 female Airmen serving their country in a wide variety of career fields from security forces and civil engineering to logistics and medical.
