Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?

“Not everyone gets the opportunity to serve for our country. Many have made the ultimate sacrifice and the best way to continue their legacy is to pick-up where they left off and do my best to make an impact on others’ lives.”

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?

“Being selected by my functional manager to be the group training profile manager for two major commands. Receiving the Outstanding Performer award for the first ever communication security inspection at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Being recognized for two benchmark processes for the security manager program and group standardization and evaluations in-processing checklist.”

What are your personal and/or professional goals?

“My personal goal is to complete my bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies, and my professional goal is to make technical sergeant.”

What is your favorite part of your job?

“My favorite part about my job is the people. I’ve met so many inspiring people throughout my career who have made me the person I am today. I also enjoy working with our aircrew members ensuring they’re mission ready.”
How does Staff Sgt. Wagner portray that core value?

Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence in All We Do: “Staff Sgt. Wagner truly emulates all three core values,” said Master Sgt. Michael Mack, 7th SOS aviation resource management section chief. “From the time she arrived at RAF Mildenhall she has been leading the way, taking ownership of all the processes and additional duties that are laid on an aviation resource manager’s shoulders. She leads her Airmen to ensure they understand the flight management policies and knows how to articulate them to the customers they support. Additionally, she has taken the time to train and mold her Airmen to exceed the mission needs and to ensure the job is accomplished right the first time. Staff Sgt. Wagner has been my ‘right-hand,’ enforcing Air Force standards, creating a force of unity and exemplifying teamwork. Wagner is truly deserving of this spotlight for all the work she has accomplished for the short time she has been assigned to the 7th SOS, and I expect it to continue throughout the rest of her career.”
