A tail of two ‘cities’: Tanker joins ranks of 100th ARW heritage, becomes ‘Square-D Away’
U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 100th Maintenance Squadron and 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron work together to perform a “fin fold” tail removal of a KC-135 Stratotanker, tail number 10267, Sept. 11, 2015, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The jet, formerly from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan.,was reassigned to RAF Mildenhall and underwent a full isochronal inspection.
