Firefighters train in confined spaces
Firefighters from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department lower a simulated casualty down a ladder July 2, 2013, during a confined-space-rescue training exercise in building 809 on RAF Mildenhall, England. The firefighters used a main line to lower the casualty and a guide line to keep him away from the walls. In order to keep the casualty safe throughout the entire exercise, one member of the rescue team called movements for the rest of the team.
