Ospreys migrate to England
Airmen unload a CV-22B Osprey June 21, 2013, in Keflavik, Iceland. The aircraft landed in Iceland to allow for crew rest and refueling during its journey to RAF Mildenhall, England. The CV-22s fill the role previously accomplished by the MH-53 Pave Low helicopter for the 352nd Special Operations Group. However, the CV-22 combines the vertical takeoff, hover and vertical-landing qualities of a helicopter with the long-range, fuel-efficiency and speed of a turboprop aircraft.
