352nd SOG welcomes Osprey to fleet
Team Mildenhall members look on as a CV-22B Osprey prepares to shut down June 24, 2013, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The CV-22 fills part of the role previously accomplished by the MH-53 Pave Low helicopter at the 352nd Special Operations Group. However, the Osprey combines the vertical takeoff, hover and vertical-landing qualities of a helicopter with the long-range, fuel-efficiency and speed of a turboprop aircraft.
