MC-12W stops by RAF Mildenhall
An MC-12W sits on the flightline May 29, 2013, at RAF Mildenhall, England, during a rest-stop on its way home to the United States. The aircraft, a medium-to-low-altitude, twin-engine turboprop was on a ferry flight for an upgrade. The primary mission of the MC-12W is providing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support directly to ground forces. Transient aircraft frequently stop at RAF Mildenhall for crew rest and to refuel before continuing on to complete their mission. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere/Released)
