New taxiway extention opens
From front right, Col. Kyle Voigt, 100th Air Refueling Wing vice commander, cuts the ribbon marking the official opening of Taxiway Echo with Col. Daniel Merry, 100th Mission Support Group commander, May 23, 2013, on RAF Mildenhall, England. Taxiway Echo, an extension to Taxiway Alpha, will provide direct access for heavy aircraft to launch from the overrun and allow for swifter takeoffs. The fiscal 2011 project cost $14.8 million and construction started June 2012. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere/Released)
