New security barriers save time, money, environment
New vehicle access control barriers are currently being installed on RAF Mildenhall, England, and are controlled by key-fob which means they can be activated immediately, saving thuorsands of man-hours, as opposed to the old-style plastic water barriers. The old-style barriers also took a total of 148,000 British gallons of water to fill, and the water was not reusable. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere/Released)
