RAF Mildenhall exercises first-response skills
During an exercise, Service members on board a “crashed” KC-135 Stratotanker drag a “casualty” from the plane April 29, 2013, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The exercise created a scenario in which KC-135 malfunctioned while landing, causing it to “veer off-course” and an engine to “catch on fire.” [(Editor’s note: This image is from an exercise and does not depict any real world event.)(U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Dillon Johnston/Released)]
