Children serve too
Children empty leftover milk into a pail before disposing of the cartons April 15, 2013, at Lakenheath Elementary School, RAF Lakenheath, England. April is Month of the Military Child because, just like their parents, military children serve too. “We know that military children face many challenges unique to their situation, such as having a parent deployed for extended periods of time and moving frequently,” stated Lucille Sutherland, LES principle, in an email to parents.
