100th CES "Dirt boyz" carry weight of Team Mildenhall
Senior Airman Joshua Walters, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Pavements and Construction equipment operator "Dirt boy" from Berlin, Pa., uses a grader to level the area and improve driving conditions, March 21, 2013, at RAF Mildenhall, England. Graders are used to level areas and to build roads. They are also used for snow removal and to make roads and surfaces safe for users. The term “Dirt boyz” is a slang term used among those in RED HORSE. It is similar to a term of endearment-one that is said with respect, admiration and distinction throughout the civil engineer career field. (U.S. Air Force photo by Gina Randall/Released)
