RAF Mildenhall hosts Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby

Cub Scouts and family members cheer on the racing cars March 16, 2013, during the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby event held in the 100th Civil Engineering Squadron Fire Department at RAF Mildenhall, England. The cars are made out of pine wood. This year's car models ranged from Lego creations to the traditional pinewood blocks or balsa wood and wheels. Although the original track from 1953 was only 31 feet long, the current track is 125 feet long with electronically released gates. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Stacia Zachary/Released)
