RAF Mildenhall leadership helps CDC celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday

Kailyn Austin, 2, Saige Yee-Flores, 2, and Ethan Montgomery, 2, listen as Col. Christopher Kulas, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, reads Dr. Seuss' "Cat in the Hat" to them March 1, 2013, at the child development center on RAF Mildenhall, England. March 1 is Read Across America Day, which is a nationwide observance coinciding with the birthday of Dr. Seuss Geisel, the author of many popular children's books. In 1997, the National Education Association pushed for a special day to celebrate reading throughout the United States. This idea proved to be a popular one; the first Read Across America Day was held March 2, 1998. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Ethan Morgan/Released)
