100th AMXS crew chief plays vital role in 100th ARW mission
Senior Airman Eric Wietstruk, 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, washes a KC-135R Stratotanker Jan. 25, 2013, in hangar 711 at RAF Mildenhall, England. As a crew chief, he is responsible for safely generating, performing inspections on and servicing the multi-million dollar aircraft. The Warner Robbins, Ga., native also performs launch and recovery of aircraft, refueling, major maintenance such as removing or installing parts, and marshalling aircraft.
