RAF Mildenhall wing chief goes for a ride
Chief Master Sgt. Christopher Powell, 100th Air Refueling Wing command chief from Cypress Fairbanks, Texas, places a boom operator sticker in the heritage room at the 493rd Fighter Squadron Jan. 18, 2013, following an incentive flight in an F-15 Eagle aircraft at RAF Lakenheath, England. Powell, who spent the majority of his nearly 30-year Air Force career as a boom operator, earned the incentive flight for his outstanding service and was the first to place a sticker in the squadron’s heritage room.
