100th SFS responds to ‘gate-runner’ during ORE
Members of the 100th Security Forces Squadron search a suspicious vehicle after a gate-runner drove illegally on base Dec. 4, 2012, during an operational readiness exercise at RAF Mildenhall, England. The gate-runner and passengers, played by 100th SFS members, drove the wrong way through Gate 17 then took off with a suspicious package, which they abandoned outside building 591. Patrol cars responded quickly and the patrolmen apprehended and handcuffed all the suspects. The ORE is one of many exercises in preparation for a combined unit inspection in 2013.
