First lady meets with Airmen, families stationed in the U.K.
RAF MILDENHALL, England - First lady Michelle Obama shakes the hand of Col. Christopher Kulas, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, prior to her departure from the base flightline here July 29, 2012. While in the U.K., the first lady led the U.S. Presidential Delegation for the 2012 Olympic Games. Additionally, the first lady met with approximately 1,000 British and American children as part of her Let's Move! Prior to departing the U.K., she met with American military families stationed in the U.K. This was Michelle Obama's first visit to RAF Mildenhall.
