RAF Mildenhall firefighter breaks world record for indoor rowing

MANCHESTER, England – Maurice O’Kane, a Defence Fire Service firefighter with the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, takes part in a record-breaking indoor rowing feat May 4, 2012, at a school in Manchester. O’Kane and a friend from Manchester, who he met on an online rowing forum, teamed up to break the world record for the tandem heavy-weight category and longest row for indoor rowing.
