RAF Mildenhall's 'map-makers' provide infrastructure information for command, control, base
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- An Airman from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Geobase flight holds a global positioning system prism stand, April 16, 2012, outside Building 680, while ensuring the bubble is aligned in the center. The prism, used in conjunction with a total station (surveying equipment), gives precise measurements which the geobase Airmen use to build maps of the base. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
