Air Commandos mark historical milestone with 6.7-mile ruck march

RAF MILDENHALL, England – Members of the 352nd Special Operations Group participated in a 6.7-mile ruck march around the perimeter of the base March 5, 2012, to commemorate Operation Thursday, a historical milestone in Air Commando history. This operation marked the first time an air unit was designed to support a ground unit and led to the formation of the 352nd SOG’s predecessor, the 2nd Air Commando Group.
