Construction on new running path well underway

RAF MILDENHALL, England – Contractors Gary Congreve, Simon Santos and John Howarth, dig and lay path edgings on the new running track Feb. 23, 2012, on the south side of base. The construction project for the path uses recycled, crushed concrete from the demolition of Building 538, and will also use recycled rubber for the top surface. Costing more than $634,000, the running path is about 2-miles-long, will be almost 6-feet-wide and is scheduled for completion in June. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
