Dumpster decisions help save base money
RAF MILDENHALL, England – These small, red dumpsters have replaced the old dumpsters around base. They can only be used for general waste, and must not be used for hazardous materials, such as batteries, paint or engine oil. They also can’t be used for any type of recyclables, such as plastic bottles, glass, cardboard, paper or cans. There are specific drop-off areas around base for recyclables, as well as the recycling center at Building 818. For more information, call the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Environmental office at DSN 238-5652. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
