435th CTS proves one-stop shop for construction at RAF Mildenhall

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- A pick (five steel panels joined together) is attached to a spreader bar and raised by a crane, before being moved and positioned into place as part of the K-Span structure on the south side of base Jan. 27, 2012. A team of 15 members from the 435th Construction and Training Squadron Military Construction Flight – 14 U.S. Air Force active duty and one German national – were here for one month building a K-Span facility (a half-moon-shaped building, made completely of steel).
