351st ARS pilot shares knowledge, experiences with local primary school children
MILDENHALL, England – 1st Lt. Mark Watson, 351st Air Refueling Squadron pilot, drops a “lunar pod” from a height of about 8 feet Dec. 6, 2011, at Great Heath Primary School, Mildenhall. The children who created them watched and cheered as their lunar pod made its landing, to see if their “astronaut” eggs inside the pods made it out safely or not. All the eggs remained intact after the experiment. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
