Marshal of the Royal Air Force visits RAF Mildenhall

RAF MILDENHALL, England – Col. Christopher Kulas, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, presents a token of appreciation to Sir Michael Beetham during a recent visit to the base Oct. 11, 2011. Beetham joined the Royal Air Force in May 1941, eventually becoming a bomber pilot. He has flown missions in the Battle of Berlin and World War II, and is presently the most senior RAF marshal.
