Surviving stormy weather with aircrew, water survival training

LOWESTOFT COLLEGE, England -- A U.S. Air Force aircrew member pulls himself up a ladder, held down by a survival, evasion, resistance and escape instructor, during water survival training July 14, 2011. Airmen from RAFs Mildenhall and Lakenheath underwent the training which was held in the half-Olympic size pool, and replicated horrific sea conditions. The training, conducted 12 times a year, is extremely important, as it can mean the difference between life and death. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Tabitha Lee)
