An American sport on British soil proves to tie cultures

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- British and American members of the RAF Marham lacrosse team pose for a photo with Col. Christopher Kulas, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander (right), and Sheila Bailey, British-American Council chairman (left), after each member was presented a special coin as an award from the B-AC. The coin is awarded on behalf of the B-AC to groups or individuals, both British and American, from on or off base, and epitomizes the special relationship shared by the United Kingdom and the United States. It is a way to recognize efforts both on a local and very personal level. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
