Base commander plays with fire but doesn't get burned
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Cadet 2nd Class Craig Nowadly, left, a cadet with the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo., along with firefighters Andy Hughes and Staff Sgt. Andy Booth, both 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, train June 7, 2011, along with Col. Chad Manske, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander. The two men donned full protective gear and with the help of the firefighters, assisted in putting out the flames on the mock aircraft. They also had the chance to go into the smoke-filled fire training house with the firefighters, and search for a mannequin which they had to bring outside to safety.
