Base commander plays with fire but doesn't get burned
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- A fire truck, belonging to the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, does modulating training as it circles the live fire trainer and shoots water to put out the flames. Col. Chad Manske, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, was on board the truck and spent time June 7, 2011, training with the firefighters. Also training alongside him was Cadet 2nd Class Craig Nowadly, a cadet from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo., who is spending a few weeks at RAF Mildenhall as part of his training.
