Two silos appear on landscape at RAF Mildenhall
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Two silos are part of the final pieces of the concrete batching plant which has just been built here March 30, 2011. The temporary plant has the ability to mix more than 2.6 tons of concrete at a time. By mixing concrete on base, the number of trucks necessary to complete airfield pavement works will be significantly reduced, thereby reducing the volume of traffic on local roads and lowering congestion at the main gate here.
