Two silos appear on landscape at RAF Mildenhall

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- The new temporary concrete batching plant stands here March 30, 2011. This plant will enable contractors to mix concrete on site, rather than having to transport truckloads of ready-mixed concrete from miles away, saving time and money. Concrete made here will be used for airfield repairs being carried out during the next six months, replacing hardstands and repairing the taxiway. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
