Firefighters give commanders insight into fire training

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Col. David Doe, 100th Mission Support Group commander, dons firefighter bunkers and prepares to put on his mask and breathing apparatus while being assisted by Tech. Sgt. Corey Coleman, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, before heading out for training at the live fire trainer on the south side of base March 17, 2011. Colonel Doe and Nigel McCurdy, Forest Heath District Council strategic director and 100th CES honorary commander, got the opportunity to put out a fire at the live fire trainer. Mr. McCurdy is part of the Honorary Commanders' Program, which is vital to foster and maintain healthy British-American relations within the local community. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
