Confined space facility provides additional training options for firefighters

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- The confined space trainer, which is a brand new facility, gives firefighters the ability to ascend and descend if the main steps are out of action, using a special tripod and mechanical hauling system. It also allows firefighters to build creative ways of reaching a victim when all assets are still on the ground. Other units can also use the trainer, including other 100th CES flights, the 100th Communications Squadron and 352nd Special Operations Group. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
