Transient Alert: Helping Air Force build partnerships around the globe
.RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Matt Bauer, aircraft servicer and contractor for 100th Maintenance Squadron Transient Alert, talks with a Turkish pilot as he goes through a checklist to ensure there are no problems with the aircraft which has just landed, and to verify if it needs refueling or maintenance. On average, TA works with three to four different countries' air forces per month, and see about 120 aircraft, including KC-135 Stratotankers from other U.S. bases, during that timeframe.
